Apostle Paul wrote in 1 Corinthians 6:19-20 that “your body is the temple of the Holy Spirit, for you have been bought with a price: therefore glorify God in your body.” A minister trained in Temple Maintenance grasps the truth that we humans are in total made in three parts, spirit, soul and body, and effective ministry involves the connectivity of all three parts. Therefore, successful ministry cannot leave out caring for the physical condition any more than we can leave out the spiritual condition of a person.
Behavior and taking control of one’s thoughts is a soul matter. Accessing the power and authority of Jesus Christ is a spiritual matter. Likewise, abusing one’s body, and ministry that addresses the personal responsibility to improve maintenance, is of equal importance if the minister is going to see complete victory in a person’s life. Often, the very core of the behavioral issue has to do with a person’s abuse and misuse of their body. That part is influencing the other two parts and no forward motion is occurring in any advice giving sessions.
The National Conservative Christian Church will endorse and provide ordination, licensing or commissioning to adequately and properly trained candidates.
