GENERAL ACCOUNTING SERVICE FOR CHARTERED MINISTRY CENTERS An easy to use, low cost, cash system of general ledger accounting for Section 501(c)(3) standards is available by mail, for churches, non-profit ministries, private counseling practices and local outreach centers. Using several forms showing information on checks written, deposits made, accounts receivable, and miscellaneous information, a ministry's input is express mailed to the home office for computer processing monthly. The input is entered and detail verified monthly. The financial statements are produced quarterly and shipped in file folders for easy organization. The quarterly professional financial reports include:
After an initial conversion cost, the monthly cost is a portion of the monthly charter fee, which is practically insignificant. Most churches and ministries cannot afford to hire a local professional to provide their leadership these important management tools, but have no volunteers to produce them. The church or ministry function is to complete a deposit distribution form every time a bank deposit is made. When paying bills and writing checks, use a standard three check business checkbook and write the purpose of the bill in the appropriate line on the check stub. At the end of each month, upon arrival of the monthly bank statement, mail a copy of the bank statement, those deposit distribution forms, and the a copy of checkbook stubs for the month in to the national office. Your checkbook will be balanced for you and all of your income and expenses will have been accounted for, with full Generally Accepted Accounting Practice financial statements produced for your God inspired management. For an N.C.C.C. chartered church or ministry center, the monthly combined fee is just $59 for one location and one bank account, equal to $2.68 per work day. For churches or ministries with more than one location, or more than one bank account, the monthly cost increases $31 for each location or bank account. For example: a church with a day school operating with a separate bank account would be $90 monthly. A ministry with two locations and two bank accounts would pay $90 monthly. A ministry with one location and operating with three bank accounts would pay $121. Courier service or postage is added to each monthly invoice. Although the monthly charter fee increases with the addition of extra accounting workload, this monthly amount is not an accounting service charge. The current monthly charter fee is a subscription commitment for operating as a remote division of the corporation and is that same charter fee for every chartered ministry center within the N.C.C.C. The initial conversion and set-up charge for a new church or ministry center chartered by the N.C.C.C. is $195, plus $25 for each quarterly report programmed for that ministry. |
