CORPORATE  SERVICES

Churches, ministries or other Christian organizations which are neither sponsored or chartered ministry centers may subscribe to the benefits of this ministry for as little as $99 per quarter. There is no enrollment fee. The first quarterly fee, sent with the application, covers setting up the church file and reviewing the charter or articles of incorporation and bylaws and their tax status.

This is the service of an on-call business administrator. A pastor of a subscribing church, his associate or other church leader may have unlimited access to help from the Sarasota office by phone, fax and mail.  It also entitles them to the other services that have a user fee, at rates lower than contracting for them locally. All of the following services may be requested at no extra cost.

1. Annual legal business review.   Annually, at a time other than "tax time", we will review the minute book, financial statements, and projects of the Corporate Services, Legal Business Review, Non-Profit 501c3 monitoringministry to determine the legality of all activities, and suggest more effective or efficient methods of administration. The leadership of the N.C.C.C. has over thirty years of experience in business management, accounting, taxation and legal administration.

2. Non-profit 501(c)3 tax status monitoring.  We will monitor or review corporate records periodically to insure compliance with I.R.S. regulations.  We will make recommendations if there are any adjustments in policy or practice to be made which will help the ministry protect its IRS non-profit tax status.

3. Organizational management consultation.  Having years of church and business organizational experience, we provide consultation on organization planning, personnel placement, job descriptions, and defining authority. An organization chart is always helpful for the staff and church membership to visually see their roll in relationship to the whole team.

4. Annual meeting guidance.  Annual meetings are critical not only for the success of that public event, and the expectations for the coming year, but also those ingredients must be in the meeting (and the minute book) for all things to be legal and I.R.S. qualified. Our staff will consult and give direction on all portions of your annual meetings; public and board level.  If necessary we will draft an agenda for the meetings and prepare the minutes for the corporate minute book.  If you prefer, a staff member can be present in person with adequate time and financial arrangement being made in advance.

5. Corporate tax and financial planning consultation.  We will assist the leadership in developing any financial plan for the church.  This could be a capital improvements program, a missionary support plan, an expanded ministry or staff proposal, a tax favorable long range staff retirement plan, or just next year's budget.

6. Financial goal planning service.  A road map is the best way to keep on course and even define how you are going to get from where you are to where you want to be. Our staff will take all of the information you have about the subject, add its experience, and produce a working financial plan, including spread sheets or pro forma projections of various options.

7. Board meeting guidance and minutes preparation.   Monthly or quarterly board meetings can be difficult and occasionally unfruitful without the right planning, agenda and props.  We will guide you through every board meeting in advance, if you choose.  If necessary, you may have an experienced staff member attend your meeting by speaker phone placed in the middle of your conference table.  After the meeting we will prepare the minutes in a legal manner, for your properly organized minute book.
