CHARTERING UNDER THE N.C.C.C.

The National Conservative Christian Church charters N.C.C.C. Ministry Centers, House Churches, Traditional Churches and Workplace Churches, as local units of the national organization. As an N.C.C.C. chartered ministry there is no need to separately incorporate, but rather to operate as a division of the national organization, under its supervision.

A standard charter and bylaws will be issued to the director of the center or pastor of the church, under which that ministry shall operate. Financial Chartered Ministry Centers for Clergy, Ordained, Licensed & Commissioned Ministers
accounting and professional operating procedures will be according to the N.C.C.C. standard operating procedures for ministry centers or for churches. Reporting and accountability procedures are built into the system, for the protection of the center, the director, the church, the pastor and the national office of the N.C.C.C.

A Policies and Procedures Manual, which contains all procedures and expectations of all of the parties, is available for the cost of $95, plus $8 shipping. If the ministry becomes a related ministry center, the $95 will be applied toward the application fee.

Local centers may choose to be identified as part of a connectional team of ministry ministries by displaying the N.C.C.C. name and logo on printed material and publicity.

Ministry centers focus primarily on coaching and mentoring individuals with problems. They are to consider that the Bible contains the answers to any problems of people God has created. Ministry centers are encouraged to establish group gatherings, process groups, or instruction classes on a weekly basis, as a discipleship method. Training is available for ministry center staff, to become proficient in Christian counseling.

The designated leader of any N.C.C.C. center, church, or local ministry shall be expected to complete three courses of study related to local small group ministry, within the first three years of the relationship.  These courses are: Foundations For Ministers (MN-501), Effective Expansion (MN-503), Leadership Development (MN-505), or Temple Maintenance Counseling (MN-450). The first course (MN-501) is the required foundational course for new ministers requesting clergy credentialing.  MN-450 is also required for any leader of a Temple Maintenance Counseling Center.

Financial revenue received as donations or for services rendered, may be deposited in a local bank account containing the N.C.C.C. name or made payable to the National Conservative Christian Church and sent to the home office. These shall receive receipts from the N.C.C.C.  If the staff of the ministry center is on the N.C.C.C. payroll, these revenues must be sufficient to cover the payroll each pay period.  See "Payroll Service" description for details.

Groups meeting regularly in homes or in work places may qualify for church recognition if they are performing religious services and conforming to the Policies and Procedures Manual of the N.C.C.C., and abiding by the standards of ministry as required.  Full instructions are available for beginning and maintaining home churches, cell groups and workplace churches. These are the primary evangelistic ministries of the N.C.C.C.

The location of a gathering of Christians has little bearing on whether that gathering is called a church. The church is not the building, but rather those who are believers in the Lordship of Christ, those who worship Jesus. Sponsored ministry centers or churches are those that are chartered as remote divisions of the N.C.C.C. in distant locations and are not separately incorporated. The monthly combined Charter fee, General Accounting cost and Management Consulting charge is $59.00.

Please request an application for chartering an N.C.C.C. ministry center, home church, or workplace church, if you are interested in beginning a ministry in your local area under the auspices of the National Conservative Christian Church.
